American Quality Schools

Chicago International Charter Schools, managed by American Quality Schools, is a nonprofit, educational management company that operates charter schools in the Midwest. Its schools are open to all students, non-selective in enrollment, non-religious and are tuition-free. The schools utilize the core knowledge sequence that is aligned with state standards for each grade level in the areas of language arts, math, science, social science, physical development and health, fine arts and foreign language. It stresses the Paideia approach and utilizes the Junior Great Books program. It equips students with the knowledge, skills, and social judgment needed to face the challenges of an increasingly complex global environment.
